Team had a great opportunity to score following a counterattack after 14 minutes, but
H. Trung Lanh's shot from the left sailed high over the bar.
Ghentizm solidified their lead at the 15 minute mark, as
J. Andersson dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 2 - 0.
N. Lai of Team was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle.
24 minutes into the game,
T. Mậu Thi had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came
S. Tràng.
A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Ghentizm to 3 - 0 as
J. Andersson finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle.
By now, the players in Ghentizm felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward.

C. Direnç increased the lead for Ghentizm to 6 - 1, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it!

V. Văn Toàn of Team fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving.

C. Direnç struck his penalty well enough to beat the goalkeeper and extend the home team's lead to 7 - 1 after 77 minutes.
