Due to an all-day shower, 2381 paying spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog at Ambulatoriu Arena. Amir Davidovich was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Abner Parias and Wiktor Ślęczkowski. Ambulatoriu decided to use a 4-3-3 set up. firtuna53 had chosen a strategic 4-3-3 formation. The following players took the field: Junker - Tronquoy, Aggelakis, Hinteregger, Zülal - Tilkin, Sousedík, Feliciano - Kyhlhall, Endevoets, Topoľský.

For their match strategy, Ambulatoriu had decided to use their ability to counter-attack whenever possible. firtuna53 used their ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. B. Mercey of Ambulatoriu seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 1 - 0 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by A. Erquist. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Ambulatoriu's I. Naščenkovas increasing the lead to 2 - 0. The crowd roared its approval when S. Bulboacă somehow managed to block a shot which seemed to be a certain goal by firtuna53's B. Tronquoy 40 minutes into the game. S. Hinteregger received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 42 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. I. Naščenkovas squirmed through their central defence after 43 minutes, increasing the lead to 3 - 0. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Ambulatoriu lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. J. Sousedík spent most of the time in a heap on the ground today, his normally rapid movement hindered by the slippery pitch. 3 - 0 was the score after the first half. Ambulatoriu enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

Ambulatoriu's I. Miclea left the field after 54 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was M. Bont. firtuna53 came close to narrowing the gap when B. Tronquoy's free kick nearly made it past the outstretched hands of S. Bulboacă after 58 minutes. After 59 minutes Ambulatoriu tried to exploit their counterattacking skills, unfortunately, G. Ionită's shot sailed wide after his break down the right. firtuna53's M. Aggelakis got himself booked for a foul. A. Erquist had a fantastic opportunity to put Ambulatoriu up another goal 75 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. firtuna53 had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. firtuna53's R. Kyhlhall was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 82 minutes. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave G. Ionită from Ambulatoriu a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 84 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! L. Topoľský was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so firtuna53's A. Ergün had to come off the bench. It was obvious that team firtuna53 had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings. Ambulatoriu's C. Adamsen had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 87 minutes having been played. M. Debreczi was the replacement. With 88 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock, firtuna53 showed some good skill and were able to reduce the score to 3 - 1 when S. Hinteregger got past the home side's central defenders right in front of the goal. firtuna53 had most of the ball, with 58 percent of possession.

Ambulatoriu's top performer was clearly I. Naščenkovas. On the other hand, M. Debreczi's play was disheartening. A. Ergün performed admirably for firtuna53. G. Zülal was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3 - 1.
