Bertens received a blow to the hip in a collision and was unable to continue. GMA, with no available replacements, now faced the prospect of finishing the game with a reduced number of players. After a fine move down the middle J. Kvietik nearly gave the home side a goal after 78 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. W. Wildt was called on to replace Inut's J.
