The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 5901 had shown up at

B. Langelund caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 22 minutes. This gave FBU the 1 - 0 lead.
Cheers filled the stadium as
U. Christiansen broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 2 - 0 to FBU.
30 minutes into the game, Desportivo seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a
solid level of organisation.
FBU managed to extend their lead to 3 - 0 when
I. Wambugu cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper.
Things were going to get worse for the visitors.
U. Christiansen squirmed through their central defence after 33 minutes, increasing the lead to 4 - 0.
At this point, it was obvious that the players of FBU lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented.
Halftime score was 4 - 0.
FBU had most of the ball, with 68 percent of possession.
A review of the gameplan helped Desportivo get back to a
solid organisation when the referee blew his whistle again.
The coach of FBU was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 46 minutes,
E. Wilbrink came on for
F. Zaballos.
The FBU captaincy was handed to
J. Royston.
J. Manniche sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from
B. Langelund after 51 minutes of play, making the score 5 - 0.
57 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as
I. Wambugu broke through, making the score 6 - 0 for FBU.
FBU solidified their lead at the 58 minute mark, as
I. Wambugu dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 7 - 0.
This third goal completed a hattrick for
I. Wambugu.
61 minutes into the game, Desportivo seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to
solid.
A well-executed free kick by
B. Langelund after 63 minutes made it 8 - 0 for FBU.
A great save by keeper
G. Coelho after 77 minutes kept the visitors in the game after
B. Langelund struck from the left with a real cannonball.
FBU had to make a substitution after 81 minutes.
J. Royston limped off the field and was replaced by
D. Fauerby.
B. Langelund was the new captain of FBU - handed the armband by the departing player.
With 82 minutes played, FBU put themselves up 9 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to
B. Langelund, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home.

B. Langelund had scored three goals - a hat trick!
FBU enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 70 percent of possession.
FBU's best player was

However,
D. Fauerby made a disastrous appearance.

M. Witte on the other hand, had a terrible day.
