A scorching day at
ytteresse arena, where 959 spectators were in place for today's match.
Andreas Jonsson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Lars Larsson and
Nils-Petter Johansson.
A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for yfk.
The following players had been chosen: Słupski - Foray, Mäki, Blokker, van Dijke - Michaeli, Batlin, Barre, van Ulden - Lukeš, Torre Diez.
fanit2 decided to use a 3-4-3 set up.
Starters: Agha Ebrahimian - Dejean, Dreier, Kannisto - Mulders, Kawulok, Kondor, 望嵩 (Wangsong) - de la Calle, Gavranović, Snell.
yfk showed off their creative tactics.
M. Mulders behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 5 minutes as he gave the ball away to
T. Barre. Lucky for him though, there was no goal.
Down the middle came
A. Gavranović, making a fantastic play that nearly had fanit2 take the lead after 18 minutes, but
P. Słupski preserved the tie.
Some quick footwork on the left side of the field 19 minutes into the match left fanit2's
M. Kondor completely free to score. 0 - 1 for the visitors.
It was 0 - 1 at the break.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by yfk, with 51 percent of the ball.
G. van Dijke showed the skills that make him a real crowd pleaser as he, after 48 minutes, wove through the guests' entire central defence and put the 1 - 1 equaliser away.
After several obvious shirt pulling incidents,
J. Foray got himself booked. The manager of yfk was not happy.
After 62 minutes fanit2's
J. Dejean limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue.
With 74 minutes played
J. Mäki almost put the home team one ahead on a cross coming in from the right, but the shot went just wide.
P. Słupski looked great 86 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors'
L. Snell.
After 87 minutes, fanit2's
L. Snell made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 1 - 2.
After 87 minutes, yfk sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached
J. Foray, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 2 - 2.
Possession in this half belonged to yfk, who controlled the ball 55 percent of the time.
Most important yfk player was
G. van Dijke.
On the other hand,
N. Batlin's play was disheartening.
fanit2's best player was
M. Kondor.
However,
D. Agha Ebrahimian made a disastrous appearance.
The match ends 2 - 2.
