G. Pelado burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 2.
With 31 minutes played, Rochelle's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to
M. Sifontes he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 1 - 2.
D. Descheemaeker's early cross saw the defenders caught out of position and the alert
F. Boucher was able to pounce and roll the ball past the hapless goalkeeper to score for Rochelle. 2 - 2.
2 - 2 was the halftime score.
Rangers claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 53 percent.
Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 67 minutes into the match, and
G. Pelado wasn't about to let it go by. He got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 2 - 3 for the visitors.
After 78 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for
B. Heves who increased Rangers's lead to 2 - 4.
Rangers had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.
Rochelle's top performer was clearly
M. Sifontes.
On the other hand,
A. Razzini's play was disheartening.
B. Heves performed admirably for Rangers.
E. Doyle on the other hand, had a terrible day.
