Dark skies made the crowd of 961 at
La cuna de la Hipoxia a little nervous, but the rain held off.
Diego Ladu was the appointed referee with assistance provided by

Hipóxicos started off with a 2-4-2 lineup.

Hipóxicos had a chance to take the lead after
J. Reyna's dazzling drive up the left, but the opportunity fizzled out as his shot went just over the bar after 7 minutes.
Some great play up the middle by Hipóxicos led to a chance for
N. Vales to score after 15 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar.
S. Espinosa of Atlético received a yellow card after 18 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
After 19 minutes, Hipóxicos's
R. Kukis fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit!
24 minutes into the game, Hipóxicos seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to
inadequate.
Making his way up the middle 28 minutes into the match,
R. Kukis almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert
A. Calvo blocked it to keep the score level.
The celebrations in the stands could only mean one thing -
S. Choy's free kick had found the back of the net and put Hipóxicos ahead 1 - 0!
38 minutes into the game,
R. Merino had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came
E. Muñoz.
Hipóxicos's
T. Liberman got himself booked for a foul.

Neither team was controlling the possession at this point in the match, with the stats showing a 50:50 split.
The Hipóxicos players spent the break getting a rerun of the team's tactical organisation and regained a
solid organisation when the game started again.
The home side's
J. Reyna came close to extending the lead 55 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but
A. Calvo managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop.
After 55 minutes,
E. Henríquez put Hipóxicos ahead 2 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing.
After 68 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Hipóxicos found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to
inadequate.
73 minutes in, Hipóxicos appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only
poor.
Atlético had most of the ball, with 58 percent of possession.
A. De Marchi performed admirably for Hipóxicos.
On the other hand,
N. Vales's play was disheartening.
