2064 spectators arrived at
FC Röhrapoint Arena, where weather conditions were pretty good for football.
Leon Lokstedt was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Brynjar Bergseth and
Igor Sperber.
Röhrapoint tactics involved an interesting 3-4-3 combination.
The following players had been chosen: Buras - Handl, Gazzea, Plattner - Drach, Rączka, Lahdenmäki, Gür - Lackner, Assinger, Sekot.
William decided to use a 4-3-3 set up.
They fielded: Halain - Burton, Brun, Mónaco, Váncsa - Vanaliin, Rambold, Ubiedo - Czédulás, Calcagno, Keränen.
William clearly preferred using their ability to attack in the middle.
William players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead.
0 - 1 was the score with 14 minutes played, after
I. Brun cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for William.
G. Lackner sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from
L. Sekot after 15 minutes of play, making the score 1 - 1.
As the 39 minute mark approached, the Röhrapoint coach decided it was time for a substitution.
J. Rączka reluctantly made way for
C. van Reisen on the pitch.
As the captain was no longer on the pitch,
S. Gazzea took over the role of being the Röhrapoint captain.
1 - 1 was the halftime score.
Röhrapoint enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.
Röhrapoint took the lead after 55 minutes as a result of
S. Gazzea's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 2 - 1.
Things were deteriorating for the away team as Röhrapoint scored another to make it 3 - 1 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for
G. Lackner after 59 minutes.
After this, you could see that the players of Röhrapoint were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals.
William were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally.
The home team's fans were upset when, after 69 minutes, the visiting
J. Ubiedo broke through the central defence and kicked the ball past the keeper. 3 - 2 was the score.
The visitors didn't give in and, after 70 minutes,
P. Keränen got through the home side's central line of defence, rolling in the equaliser to make it 3 - 3.
Almost all the way down to the corner flag, William's
J. Ubiedo somehow managed to get a perfect pass into the middle, impossible to miss for
P. Keränen, who struck for 3 - 4.
Röhrapoint had most of the ball, with 57 percent of possession.
Röhrapoint's top performer was clearly
J. Lahdenmäki.
R. Handl turned in a dismal performance, however.
William's best player was
Z. Czédulás.
However,
I. Brun made a disastrous appearance.
The match ends 3 - 4.
