baboons seemed to prefer attacking in the middle.
baboons created a good opportunity to score 24 minutes into the match when
V. Gugo's hooked ball from the left created a scuffle in front of the goal, and the visitors' defenders had a hard time clearing the ball.
baboons players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead.
M. Luijpers behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 28 minutes as he gave the ball away to
A. Tripa. Lucky for him though, there was no goal.
With 37 minutes played
V. Gugo almost put the home team one ahead on a cross coming in from the right, but the shot went just wide.
The terraces were silenced after 41 minutes when SZALON's
D. Wit put the guests ahead 0 - 1, following an attack on the right.
0 - 1 was the score after the first half.
baboons claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 57 percent.
The crowd chanted their encouragement as baboons's
S. Yöntem came in from the right after 51 minutes and put the ball in the net to level the score at 1 - 1.
As the 60 minute mark approached, the SZALON coach decided it was time for a substitution.
I. Baranovszky reluctantly made way for
J. Mäntyniemi on the pitch.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
E. Icoaga from baboons a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 68 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
Unfortunately for SZALON,
A. Tripa was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field.
T. Kun replaced him.
baboons had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks.
SZALON were able to draw a foul with their counterattacks, but the shot from
U. Soppa went into the arms of the keeper.
SZALON took the lead after 77 minutes making the score 1 - 2.
T. Kun placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left.
baboons had most of the ball, with 58 percent of possession.
M. Bódis performed admirably for baboons.
On the other hand,
S. Yöntem's play was disheartening.
Most important SZALON player was
D. Wit.
However,
Á. Futaki made a disastrous appearance.
