Micu on the right after 36 minutes, but he could only look on with dismay as his strike rebounded off the crossbar. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Hadrondeon, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. Cheers filled the stadium as Q. Palmboom broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 2 - 0 to Hadrondeon. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. L. Ronner squirmed through their central defence after 40 minutes, increasing the lead to 3 - 0. Hadrondeon's A. van der Heijden left the field after 43 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin.
