The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
V. Kopustas from Siltnamiai a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 21 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!

J. Vunderis contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game.
Olympique took the lead 32 minutes in, as
G. Noffke broke through on the left and put the 1 - 0 shot just beyond the reach of the outstretched keeper.

Olympique increased the lead as
U. Peluffo struck to make the score 3 - 1 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper.
H. Gradwohl of Olympique received a yellow card after 39 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
A wonderful trick by

Olympique had most of the ball, with 59 percent of possession.
Olympique's
G. Panzacchi increased the lead to 4 - 1, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 47 minutes.

S. Rousselle broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake.
Confident in their lead, Olympique's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it.
After 55 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and
G. Noffke gave the Olympique supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 6 - 1.
A great save by keeper

H. Gradwohl struck from the left with a real cannonball.
The Olympique players could smell victory in the air.

After 75 minutes,
H. Gradwohl put Olympique ahead 7 - 1 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing.

The most dominating Olympique player was without a doubt
A. Kupfer.
B. Kostadinov on the other hand, had a terrible day.
Siltnamiai's top performer was clearly
A. Jaugielavičius.
J. Vunderis was a disappointment, however.
The match ends 7 - 1.
