After 13 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Erfolgslos found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to poor. With 24 minutes played, the visitors broke through on the right after some poor defending. F. Heiberg put the ball away for 0 - 1. 36 minutes into the game R. Škiljo could see that the opposing goalie was out of position and tried an unexpected lob that the keeper just barely reached. The rebound went to T. Tentrus who failed to hit the target. With 39 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed M. Lestina of Erfolgslos to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 2. 43 minutes into the game, Erfolgslos were awarded a penalty and O. Zirkowitsch was able to increase the visitors' lead to 0 - 3 rolling the ball in by the right post. M. Lestina increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 4. By now, the players in Erfolgslos felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. Erfolgslos's F. Heiberg was shown a yellow card after 44 minutes for slicing down an opponent. 0 - 4 was the score after the first half. The coach gave his players an extra tactical briefing during the break, and after that Erfolgslos had passable organisation. After 53 minutes of game time, F. Heiberg had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but E. Parra was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. Erfolgslos came close to extending their lead as O. Zirkowitsch delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 68 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. 74 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 5 as R. Škiljo finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. Erfolgslos had most of the ball, with 74 percent of possession.
