BJC 3 - 1 Tribu (63090031)

Some 182 persons were kind enough to visit Tedi Kolk this cloudy day. The 4-5-1 formation was the choice of BJC. The lucky starting players: Efrat - Asulin, Bolotinsky, Klinger, Artzi - Snitkovsky, Miller, Ben-Ari, Azrieli, Ivgy - Harrani.

Tribu lined up for kickoff in what looked like a 3-5-2 formation. The picks for today were: Perfumo - Salinas, Bernardico, Ghiggia - Bendelman, Taborda, Obama, Sonsol, Desábato - González, Cedres.

BJC decided to play creatively. Tribu saw most attack opportunities on the wings. Some things can only be learned through experience, and O. Ben-Ari needs plenty of that. He could have avoided that defensive blunder which almost gave Tribu a goal after 7 minutes. The visitors were very close to gaining the lead with a snappy free kick after 8 minutes, but Y. Efrat put himself in the way. E. Miller made his way into the box from the right flank, but couldn't open the scoring for BJC - the shot was deflected away for a throw in off a defender. You can't but feel a little sorry for the boy supposed to be marking R. Snitkovsky. Using his speed, he rounded the defenders and sent a great pass to M. Harrani who nailed it in for BJC. 1 - 0! W. Bernardico tied the game at 1 - 1 after 32 minutes, converting a fine pass from the right. At the halftime break, the score was 1 - 1. Tribu , bringing their ball possession to 55 percent, seemed most ambitious today.

F. Sonsol would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. F. Escaleno entered the game for Tribu as the match clock showed 50 minutes. After being named the new captain of Tribu , B. Taborda rushed over to his mother to have his picture taken. Not a pretty sight, but at least that free kick by M. Harrani ended up behind the keeper after 68 minutes. The boys of BJC couldn't be happier, it's 2 - 1! After 70 minutes, Tribu substituted B. Taborda for R. Míguez, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. A. González eagerly took over as the new captain of Tribu . H. Asulin should probably have put his team up another goal after 73 minutes, but S. Perfumo made a confident save and kept the visitors in the game. Advancing up the left wing proved worthwhile for BJC, who increased their lead to 3 - 1 when L. Ivgy broke away from his marker and finished from an acute angle. Tribu didn't seem to want to give the ball away in this half, which resulted in 57 percent of the possession.

The BJC players gave M. Harrani a group hug after the game, claiming he'd been "really great". Y. Efrat left the field with tears in his eyes, knowing he had been the worst player on his team. A. González performed especially well for Tribu - this one could be a candidate for the senior squad one day. R. Bendelman needs a lot of extra training, however. As the match wraps up the score is 3 - 1.
