The weather was decent, and some 272 people were interested enough in the game to visit Gladiators Bowl today. The boys of Daring started the game in a 3-4-2 formation. The picks for today were: Roelandt - Maes, Pille, Van der Schueren - Laurens, Łopatecki, Chavagne, Vasile - Douglas, Simões Tavares.

FKB lined up for kickoff in what looked like a 4-5-1 formation. The coach fielded the following talents: Jang - Park, Shim, Lee, Lee - Kang, Kim, Yoo, Kim, Oh - Kim.

FKB decided to play creatively. FKB's E. Kang was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opponent's box - Y. Kim managed to kick one of them into the net for 0 - 1 after 8 minutes. FKB looked like a proper team as they worked their way up the left side after 9 minutes, ending with an unsuccessful attempt at goal. In the 20:th minute, FKB nearly put themselves up another goal as S. Kim stumbled through on the left and dragged the ball with him towards the goal. The keeper cleared the ball in time. Some fine maneuvering on the left led to a goal for the young FKB side after 30 minutes, making it 0 - 2. The referee announced Y. Kim as the scorer. E. Kang has benefited from his natural speed since pre-school days, and here he showed it still makes a difference. The boy darted past his marker and hit a cross pass to Y. Kim who could easily execute the 0 - 3 goal. By then Y. Kim had scored three times - a hat trick! A drive on the left side created space for FKB's K. Shim, who easily put the cross away after 34 minutes for 0 - 4. At the halftime break, the score was 0 - 4. FKB didn't seem to want to give the ball away in this half, which resulted in 60 percent of the possession.

Good work by FKB's defensive line produced a couple of good counterattack chances, one of which found M. Kim alone in front of the goal, but his shot whistled just wide. After 71 minutes, Daring's D. Douglas swiftly ran past W. Lee to put away the 1 - 4 goal. After 81 minutes, whilst the home crowd were discussing who parked their vehicle in the wrong spot, H. Oh charged up the middle and forced the keeper to make one of his best saves of the day. Daring did not seem very confident about what to do on the pitch, the organisation level having broken down to inadequate. 84 minutes into the match, a well-timed pass from the left side gave S. Lee, of FKB, an open road to the goal. Seconds later the score was 1 - 5. After this, FKB lowered the tempo and tried to look experienced, just doing what was needed to secure the lead. FKB can often rely on E. Kang to create chances using his speed alone. This time, he passed sideways to a teammate after an enormous rush down the midfield after 85 minutes, creating lots of space. Y. Kim was just a bit too far ahead for him to get a good shot off. Having successfully challenged his marker and even the goalkeeper, FKB's S. Lee made it into the box in the 86th minute, and could easily place the ball in the unguarded goal. At the last moment, a defender sprang up from the left, clearing the ball on the line. FKB, bringing their ball possession to 65 percent, seemed most ambitious today.

The Daring players gave D. Douglas a group hug after the game, claiming he'd been "really great". M. Laurens showed he still has a lot to learn. FKB's M. Kim had a great game and was congratulated by his team mates. This lad could be going places! H. Park left the field with tears in his eyes, knowing he had been the worst player on his team. The match ends with a 1 - 5 score.
