Some 282 persons were kind enough to visit Tedi Kolk this cloudy day. The 4-5-1 formation was the choice of BJC. The picks for today were: Efrat - Sheetrit, Bolotinsky, Klinger, Artzi - Snitkovsky, Miller, Ben-Ari, Azrieli, Ivgy - Harrani.

MiniBk's lined up for kickoff in what looked like a 3-4-3 formation. The coach fielded the following talents: Lammens - Callens, Loix, Viaene - Carbonez, Vanhaverbeke, Haulotte, Ruytinx - Witvrouwen, Vanden Abeele, Coenen.

BJC displayed their ability to play creatively. MiniBk's's V. Haulotte put the guests ahead 0 - 1, following an attack on the right 9 minutes into the game. I. Viaene's lack of experience almost gave BJC a goal after 30 minutes, but the shot went right into the keeper's arms. After 35 minutes, MiniBk's's S. Coenen careened through the central defenders and was just able to get off a shot for the 0 - 2 goal before being brought down by his marker. After 38 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for F. Loix who increased MiniBk's's lead to 0 - 3. Rather confident that the job now was done, MiniBk's's players started drawing back to secure the lead. BJC's M. Artzi was shown a yellow card after 41 minutes for using his elbow in an aerial duel with an opposing player. At the 42 minute mark, BJC seemed to have messed up a great opportunity to score. Then L. Ivgy suddenly got in the clear and fired off a spectacular shot. The keeper had no chance! 1 - 3. At the halftime break, the score was 1 - 3. MiniBk's pleased their coach greatly, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.

Good work by MiniBk's's defensive line produced a couple of good counterattack chances, one of which found V. Carbonez alone in front of the goal, but his shot whistled just wide. Given a free kick in a difficult position after 51 minutes, BJC tried a variation that they had practised in training. The kick was sent into the area just in front of the keeper. However, the defence were on their toes and allowed no space for a finish. After 53 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed N. Witvrouwen to get through. He made the home side's keeper look like the rookie he is, and added another goal for the visitors. 1 - 4. It was by no means pretty when one of the home defenders unknowingly protected the goal using his rear end in the 63th minute. But the move was effective and stopped G. Ruytinx's shot from the right side just before entering the goal. This half the MiniBk's boys hung on to the ball, with 57 percent of possession.

BJC's M. Harrani had a great game and was congratulated by his team mates. This lad could be going places! On the other hand, Y. Efrat's performance hadn't been very good at all. S. Coenen performed especially well for MiniBk's - this one could be a candidate for the senior squad one day. V. Callens needs a lot of extra training, however. The match ends with a 1 - 4 score.
