Mylly 0 - 0 Pano09 (65595101)

It was a bright and sunny day at La Dipre Bernaquita Stadion, with 267 spectators in place, seeing a chance to improve their tans while also being supportive of the boys on the field. The 5-3-2 formation was the choice of Mylly. The lucky starting players: Lipsanen - Kaisanlahti, Lemmetyinen, Leppihalme, Rasmussen, Jokela - Sauvola, Varjamo, Manninen - Rättäri, Lamminmäki.

Pano09 lined up for kickoff in what looked like a 5-5-0 formation. The picks for today were: Räisä - Viitasalo, Risto, Hyötylä, Keitaanpää, Alaluukas - Majasaari, Hollo, Tapani, Urpanen, Võrno -.

L. Risto showed his nerves and inexperience when he needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area. However the free kick that followed didn't succeed. T. Sauvola of Mylly received a yellow card after 14 minutes for arguing with the referee. Mylly did not seem very confident about what to do on the pitch, the organisation level having broken down to weak. After 32 minutes, Mylly's J. Rasmussen received a yellow card after ignoring the referee's order to tuck his shirt inside his shorts. L. Lemmetyinen of Mylly was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. 0 - 0 was the score after the first half. This half the Pano09 boys hung on to the ball, with 63 percent of possession.

After handing out some oranges, Mylly's coach repeated his tactical instructions to the team. The boys finally got it, and were back at passable organisation when the whistle blew again. The warm weather made several boys tired and lethargic, but H. Jokela stayed focused and did well with his dribbles. Usually a strong presence on the field, H. Kaisanlahti looked a bit drained today under the hot sun. Slack defending gave Mylly a chance to take the lead after 85 minutes, but H. Kaisanlahti's cross from the left flank was fumbled in front of the goal and easily dealt with by the opposition. A late sliding challenge from Mylly's L. Lemmetyinen was deemed to be his second yellow card offence by the referee, resulting in him leaving the pitch. Pano09, bringing their ball possession to 59 percent, seemed most ambitious today.

The Mylly players gave E. Rättäri a group hug after the game, claiming he'd been "really great". A. Lipsanen needs a lot of extra training, however. S. Räisä performed especially well for Pano09 - this one could be a candidate for the senior squad one day. S. Viitasalo left the field with tears in his eyes, knowing he had been the worst player on his team. As the match wraps up the score is 0 - 0.
