previous 6/15 next 8/15  Dinamo 0 - 5 Balorda (251599810)

Clear skies welcomed the 40000 spectators who had made their way to Amnesia Field. Max Handlos was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Röbi Wunderlich and Håkan Jeppsson. Dinamo tactics involved an interesting 5-5-0 combination. The following players took the field: Laudando - Breij, Roggenbach, Donandt, Kolář, Jing Kian - Norrlius, Aitzemüller, Bulgarelli, Söderman, Choo -.

A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Balorda. They fielded: Mari - Civan, Carpenter, Baştuğ - Bytyqi, Paris, Musci, Juncker, Kürbis - Antonacci, Bonini.

It was obvious that Dinamo were using their pressing skill as their primary tactic. Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 21 minutes into the match, and A. Bonini wasn't about to let it go by. He got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 0 - 1 for the visitors. 34 minutes into the game, Dinamo had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to poor. Dinamo's talent at pressing frustrated the spectators as the game became a dire midfield struggle. 37 minutes into the game, Dinamo seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to wretched. After 40 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for F. Kürbis who increased Balorda's lead to 0 - 2. A drive down the left side allowed M. Bytyqi to get in close and score another goal for Balorda after 42 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 3. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Balorda coach let M. Okle replace A. Bonini after 42 minutes. The coach of Balorda was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 42 minutes, B. Tovar came on for G. Antonacci. D. Baştuğ left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 42 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. S. Britos was the replacement. After a short break after 42 minutes, Balorda seemed to change their tactical approach a bit. After this, you could see that the players of Balorda were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. Dinamo's P. Aitzemüller got himself booked for a foul. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, D. Paris would have put Balorda up another goal 43 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. 0 - 3 was the score after the first half. Balorda had most of the ball, with 78 percent of possession.

Despite his frustration resulting in the smashing of a few teacups, the coach of Dinamo was able to get his message across, and raised Dinamo's organisation to inadequate. After 46 minutes, Dinamo switched P. Aitzemüller with T. Laublaus, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. After 51 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave M. Okle a chance to increase the lead for Balorda, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 4. With 57 minutes of the game having been played, D. Paris received a blow to the hip in a collision and was unable to continue. Balorda, with no available replacements, now faced the prospect of finishing the game with a reduced number of players. 69 minutes into the game, Dinamo seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a poor level of organisation. The referee showed Dinamo's E. Roggenbach the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. After 84 minutes, Balorda's B. Juncker burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 5. Dinamo needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 85 minutes M. Donandt made way for P. Landdahl. M. Bytyqi was, after 88 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper M. Laudando made the save. Possession in this half belonged to Balorda, who controlled the ball 70 percent of the time.

Dinamo's best player was M. Laudando. E. Roggenbach was a disappointment, however. Most important Balorda player was G. Mari. However, S. Britos made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 5.
