De Filippis scored for dynamo putting them ahead 1 - 0, after 21 minutes. After 29 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Schobberobber found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to poor. The dynamo free kick 31 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of W. García, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 2 - 0! Schobberobber's M. Reck was shown a yellow card after 37 minutes for slicing down an opponent. dynamo managed to extend their lead to 3 - 0 when W. García cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. 43 minutes in, dynamo's A. Əliyev received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. The player down was I. Leeuwenburgh. The Schobberobber bench looked worried for a while, but in the end he managed to get up. With 44 minutes played, dynamo put themselves up 4 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to F. Bettray, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. After 44 minutes dynamo's W. García contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. The teams went for the halftime break at 4 - 0. dynamo enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 67 percent of possession.

The coach gave his players an extra tactical briefing during the break, and after that Schobberobber had passable organisation. dynamo's F. Bettray saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 53 minutes. F. Bettray increased the lead for dynamo to 5 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! By now, the players in dynamo felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. After 69 minutes of play, dynamo's T. Chatzistavrou unexpectedly struck an inside out ball from no angle at all and W. García slotted it into the net for 6 - 0. This third goal completed a hattrick for W. García. T. Chatzistavrou should probably have put his team up another goal after 71 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by J. Palma kept the visitors in the game. With 73 minutes played, T. Chatzistavrou could have brought this one home for dynamo as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. 75 minutes in, Schobberobber appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only inadequate. The visitors replied 81 minutes into the game, reducing the home side's lead to 6 - 1, as A. Rousounidis dashed up the middle, easily lobbing the ball over the home team's keeper. Possession in this half belonged to dynamo, who controlled the ball 61 percent of the time.

dynamo's best player was F. Bettray. T. Chatzistavrou turned in a dismal performance, however. Schobberobber's top performer was clearly D. Gunn. G. Mayerhöfer on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 6 - 1.
