As L. Beumer had, completely unprovoked, swept the legs out from under an opponent in front of a linesman, the referee gave the vipers player a red card without batting an eyelid. Due to a severely mistimed tackle, B. Lashov of StArfiZha/S spent some time on the grass writhing in agony before he could get up and continue the game. 25 minutes into the match, vipers nearly took the lead, as P. Pirrone broke through on the right. C. González made the save, however. 34 minutes of the match played, and a comedy of errors by the home side gave the visitors a chance at the lead, but F. Vigata, after finding himself dashing down on goal from the left with only the keeper to beat, sliced his shot horribly wide. 36 minutes into the game, R. Plesl almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. After 37 minutes StArfiZha/S tried to exploit their counterattacking skills, unfortunately, D. Osewe's shot sailed wide after his break down the right. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 0. vipers had most of the ball, with 73 percent of possession.

This was a good period for the visitors, with several opportunities to take the lead, particularly when F. Vigata slipped through the defence on the right to come up alone against C. González, but the home side's keeper showed his lightning reflexes. B. Wybrandt, who often relies on his speed, had a rotten day on the drenched grass. V. Musmarra of vipers was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. vipers's defence sent a ball soaring up the middle on a beautiful counterattack with 81 minutes gone, but G. Nelli's finish was met by the reaching hands of the keeper. After 87 minutes, vipers's F. Vigata made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1. StArfiZha/S needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 88 minutes S. Landert made way for À. Gros. vipers claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 71 percent.

StArfiZha/S's best player was B. Lashov. M. Zfadia turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating vipers player was without a doubt G. Nelli. M. Panuccio was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 1.
