600 fans braved the pouring rain at Fortuna Rödelnstein Arena. Solomone Bogan was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Björn Renstedt and Noah Vogelaar. Sennestadt started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. Starters: 啟言 (Qiyan) - Evliya, Holste, Erdt, Elmas - Vigiani, Przychodzki, Germanà, Kianfar - Islinger, Zink.

The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave J. Bloedau from Rödelnstein a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 5 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! P. Przychodzki was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so Sennestadt's N. Oliveira had to come off the bench. L. Islinger was struggling to make the ball dance with his usual trickery and panache, and the opposing players had little trouble shutting him down in these muddy conditions. With 30 minutes played, M. Rutnberg of Rödelnstein fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. A. Vigiani didn't let the weather get him down and made some great moves on the pitch in spite of the rain. At 39 minutes played, G. Gelfort came in from the right with the intention of giving Rödelnstein the lead, but his rocket of a shot rattled the crossbar. Rödelnstein had a chance to take the lead after M. Sülz's dazzling drive up the left, but the opportunity fizzled out as his shot went just over the bar after 40 minutes. Making his way up the middle 42 minutes into the match, M. Prees almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert 劉. 啟言 (Qiyan) blocked it to keep the score level. 0 - 0 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Rödelnstein, with 62 percent of the ball.

After 59 minutes of play, A. Beltle gave the home team a 1 - 0 lead after an attack coming in from the right. Rödelnstein's R. Parry got himself booked for a foul. In a fantastic display of determination, Sennestadt's O. Evliya forced himself to his feet, after an opponent viciously knocked him down. M. Prees could have put Rödelnstein up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 74 minutes. D. Weingessl was called on to replace Rödelnstein's G. Gelfort after 77 minutes following a nasty collision. The visitors almost came back with an equaliser 78 minutes into the match after a good combination down the middle, but when M. Kianfar tried to finish the attack, he couldn't deliver the shot hard enough to seriously challenge the keeper. Rödelnstein's M. Prees was shown a yellow card after 81 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Sennestadt were forced into a substitution as W. Zink couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing Y. Torgersen to come in off the bench. Rödelnstein's R. Parry swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. Sennestadt were close to putting the equaliser away after 85 minutes as the opposing defence lost control of the ball to T. Erdt in a scuffle towards the left of the goal, but in the end the ball was cleared over the dead ball line. The referee showed Sennestadt's A. Holste the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Rödelnstein had most of the ball, with 59 percent of possession.

Most important Rödelnstein player was A. Beltle. D. Weingessl turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Sennestadt player was without a doubt A. Vigiani. O. Evliya was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 0.
