Hjerrild 0 - 7 Helene
(358548194)

22-01-2012 17.00
Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 12000 at
San Siro today.
Stéphane Desprez was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Robert Kranz and
Waldemar Łuczak.
A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Hjerrild.
The following players had been chosen: Krause - Lübbers, Didriksen, Katholm, Berg Briese - Salskov, Mann, Retov, Lippert - Boe, Goersch.
Helene tactics involved an interesting 5-3-2 combination.
Lineup: Abate - Irigoien, Czikó, Traunwieser, Dobranskis, Eg - Blom, Aizups, Manso - Zúñiga Pacheco, Niespodziewany.
It was an obvious ambition of Helene to use their ability at attacking on the flanks.
Helene took the lead 2 minutes into the game, making the score 0 - 1 after some elegant movement down the middle.
I. Aizups was the scorer.
The counterattacks of Helene were deadly and 31 minutes into the game,
R. Traunwieser received a nice pass from the right flank, making it 0 - 2.
Some fine movement on the left led to a Helene goal after 33 minutes, making it 0 - 3.
M. Zúñiga Pacheco was noted down as the scorer.
The players of Helene now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle.
With 37 minutes played,
A. Blom of Helene fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving.
The crowd groaned when
K. Boe, having maneuvered his way down the right, fired the ball just wide and missed a great opportunity to reduce the deficit for Hjerrild.
E. Irigoien received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 40 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score.
0 - 3 was the score after the first half.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Helene, with 59 percent of the ball.
E. Irigoien increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 4.
A drive down the left side allowed
K. Dobranskis to get in close and score another goal for Helene after 51 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 5.
E. Irigoien of Helene took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 62 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 6.
After 66 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed
I. Aizups to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 7.
A scuffle developed as players from both sides clashed following a tussle in the centre of the field 68 minutes into the match. After regaining order and consulting his linesman, the referee called Hjerrild's
J. Salskov to one side and produced a red card for the player.
Helene claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 69 percent.
The most dominating Hjerrild player was without a doubt
K. Boe.
K. Krause was a disappointment, however.
I. Aizups performed admirably for Helene.
On the other hand,
H. Eg's play was disheartening.
The match ends 0 - 7.
