Due to an all-day shower, 26856 paying spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog at La Hoguera Stadium. Setim showed great heart and had a good game. A. Igarzábal of U.A.D.F. got sent off for kicking the ball after the whistle, a completely uncalled for move, earning him his second yellow card of the game. M. Bricche had a fantastic opportunity to put Macabeos up another goal 38 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. Macabeos's P. van der Lek struck his penalty well enough to beat the goalkeeper and extend the home team's lead to 3 - 0 after 39 minutes. After this, you could see that the players of Macabeos were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. Halftime score was 3 - 0. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Macabeos, with 54 percent of the ball.

Cheers filled the stadium as P. van der Lek broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 4 - 0 to Macabeos. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave M. Bricche from Macabeos a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 70 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! The home side's P. van der Lek curled a free kick home after 71 minutes, putting Macabeos ahead 5 - 0. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for P. van der Lek. Possession in this half belonged to Macabeos, who controlled the ball 57 percent of the time.
