The home crowd cheered when, after 46 minutes, K. Brosbøl's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. L. Scharnhauser of Atlético took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 53 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 2. G. Stöckl behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 73 minutes as he gave the ball away to S. Kafri. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. S. Kafri came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over A. Kerminen but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Atlético, with 61 percent of the ball.

TIMAOFC's top performer was clearly T. Svensson. T. McGrath was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Atlético player was without a doubt K. Brosbøl. L. Rodríguez on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 2.
