After a fine move down the middle M. Vihiniemi nearly gave the home side a goal after 58 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. Some great play up the middle by *e led to a chance for V. Balzer to score after 78 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar. Tikkie's L. Rouwhorst was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 80 minutes. The home side put themselves ahead 2 - 1 after 85 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from D. Taga, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. Possession in this half belonged to *e, who controlled the ball 54 percent of the time.

*e's top performer was clearly G. Allseits. However, O. Stéphan made a disastrous appearance. Most important Tikkie player was X. Woudenberg. B. Coşar was a disappointment, however. The match ends 2 - 1.
