The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 2841 had shown up at
Pinaret Arena for the match.

Gaudenz Steinbach.
Bunyola started off with a 4-5-1 lineup.
Lineup: Tavares - Karlivānis, Helie, Herreros, Xuncal - Jiménez, Langarica, Flok, Urreche, Begli - Baguena.
SCTV had chosen a strategic 3-4-3 formation.

A corner kick created great disorder in the penalty area with a goal nearly scored by
S. Baguena. At last, Bunyola's
R. Begli was able to backheel the ball in. 1 - 0.
L. Duarte made a run for the goal 20 minutes into the game but the home team's left back managed to sort the situation out in the end.
A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Bunyola's
J. Jiménez increasing the lead to 2 - 0.
SCTV's
J. Teives was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 27 minutes.
A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Bunyola to 3 - 0 as
S. Baguena finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle.
Confident in their lead, Bunyola's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it.
The visitors' right side was dangerous today;
S. Vilares made the home team's keeper look foolish as he easily reduced the lead to make it 3 - 1 38 minutes into the match.
41 minutes in, SCTV's
L. Duarte received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
C. Helie could have increased the lead after 42 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park.
A bit later, SCTV's
S. Vilares easily reduced the lead to 3 - 2 after a misunderstanding in the home side's central defence.
3 - 2 was the score after the first half.
Bunyola claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 67 percent.
A well placed corner kick from
A. Karlivānis was followed by
R. Herreros's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for Bunyola, the score now 4 - 2.
With 75 minutes played, Bunyola's
S. Baguena almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net.
Bunyola's
J. Flok had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 81 minutes having been played.
J. Giménez was the replacement.
With 82 minutes played,
S. Baguena could have brought this one home for Bunyola as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high.
Bunyola had most of the ball, with 65 percent of possession.
Bunyola's top performer was clearly
R. Begli.
R. Herreros was a disappointment, however.
The most dominating SCTV player was without a doubt
H. Melo.
S. Sombreireiro on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The match ends 4 - 2.
