previous 8/10 next 10/10  N-ONE 2 - 0 F.C. (363900143)

Clear skies welcomed the 608 spectators who had made their way to colosso epomeo. Henning Heisterbusch was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Joan Valenti and Alexander MacArthur. N-ONE decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. They fielded: Cabañero - Bjørvik, Veér, Hiernaux - Elefante, Mac Kay, Volpe, De Pascale, Özşah - Marchèse, Sánchez.

F.C. tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. The following players took the field: Rosini - Theisen, Hinterhofer, Gaggi, Gesmundo - Rizzoli, Commone, Kurdov, Spagnulo - Sorci, Lazãr.

Making his way up the middle 4 minutes into the match, L. Marchèse almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert G. Rosini blocked it to keep the score level. S. Sánchez gave N-ONE the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 1 - 0 A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of N-ONE to 2 - 0 as I. Hiernaux finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. N-ONE's G. Özşah somehow missed a penalty 25 minutes into the match, much to the crowd's displeasure. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave M. Spagnulo from F.C. a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 29 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! N-ONE were forced into a substitution as L. Marchèse couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing E. Saggioro to come in off the bench. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 0. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by N-ONE, with 67 percent of the ball.

N-ONE's S. Sánchez was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 75 minutes. After 78 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by G. Özşah might have resulted in another goal for N-ONE. However, G. Rosini made a spectacular save. N-ONE claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 71 percent.

Most important N-ONE player was B. De Pascale. P. Volpe turned in a dismal performance, however. S. Kurdov performed admirably for F.C.. M. Spagnulo on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 2 - 0.
