Inzs's J. Bulthaupt was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box - M. Carminati managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 0 - 1 after 25 minutes. It was a bad day for the usually speedy F. Gwiaździński. The mud seemed to slow him down. Some things can only be learned through experience, and M. Koch should take his lesson to heart after nearly gifting Inzs a goal with 33 minutes of the match played. daddys had a great opportunity to score following a counterattack after 35 minutes, but P. Urquijo's shot from the left sailed high over the bar. M. Koch sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from A. Nijs after 41 minutes of play, making the score 1 - 1. daddys's H. Markgraf was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 42 minutes. When P. daddys almost scored after a counterattack 52 minutes into the match, but N. Garrido took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net. As the 75 minute mark approached, the Inzs coach decided it was time for a substitution. A. Albijanić reluctantly made way for N. Islas on the pitch. Possession in this half belonged to Inzs, who controlled the ball 55 percent of the time.

Still tied after 90 minutes, the match continued into extra time. With the score still deadlocked after extra time, the teams took to the field for a penalty shoot-out to decide the winner.

Rossi cockily booted the ball with a short-and-fast instep. The penalty, going just wide of the mark, didn't produce a goal. Inzs's M. Carminati didn't look like he was confident as he stepped up, and produced a badly struck penalty - right into the arms of G. Rahier. The score remained 2 - 1. Clearly nervous from the start, daddys's I. Thirion took a long run up, but could only blast the ball over the bar. The score remains 2 - 1. Oooh - how unlucky! Inzs's J. van Vliet attempt hit the underside of the bar, but rebounded down into the grateful arms of G. Rahier. The score stays 2 - 1. daddys's H.
