José Luis Perales.
A 4-3-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Mullets.
Starters: Nagle - Power, Pam, Lennan, Corliss - Mulcahy, Chrobok, 逸成 (Yicheng) - Ujunwa, Fairbairn, Sheehan.

P. Oog came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save.

A loud groan was heard from the fans of Mullets, as
D. Chrobok left the pitch in too much pain to finish the match.
B. Ó Sé took his place on the field.
D. Pam was just a finger's breadth away from an equaliser for Mullets with a strike from the left, but
L. Cavassa managed to ward the shot off for a corner.
0 - 1 was the score after the first half.
Neither team was controlling the possession at this point in the match, with the stats showing a 50:50 split.
T. Lennan received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 73 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score.
With 75 minutes played, the Mullets coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around.

78 minutes into the game, Mullets seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to
passable.
Some fine passing in the middle of the pitch, carving open the away defence, should have led to a goal for Mullets, but
A. Sheehan's shot went over the bar.
GmP's defence sent a ball soaring up the middle on a beautiful counterattack with 88 minutes gone, but
P. Pribol's finish was met by the reaching hands of the keeper.
The rain made it hard for players like
洪. 逸成 (Yicheng) to show their technical control of the ball on this soggy day.
With 89 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed
J. Zaritsch of GmP to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 2.
With 89 minutes played, GmP put themselves up 0 - 3 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was
P. Oog.
The players of GmP now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle.
GmP claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 59 percent.
D. Fairbairn performed admirably for Mullets.
S. MacDermot was a disappointment, however.
The most dominating GmP player was without a doubt
M. Richtr.
L. Cavassa on the other hand, had a terrible day.
