07-02-2012 18.15
The 788 fans in attendance at
Dorfplatz an der A 8 were roasting in the hot sun.
Herbert Groß was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Ron Moran and
Josef Krahmer.
SC71er started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.
Lineup: Lüngreens - Schadenhofer, Oberdieck, Ðorović - Bouska, Dorizas, Schobesberger, Agnesi, Haltmayer - Reinkens, Unverdorben.
semistaenda decided to use a 5-3-2 set up.
The following players took the field: Schwadorf - Vilamosa, Sparr, Villazán, Ortu, Eza - Worm, Bierbauch, Cecconi - Grosso, Bothenhorst.
SC71er mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle.
semistaenda were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks.
11 minutes into the game, semistaenda seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a
inadequate level of organisation.
SC71er took the lead, 1 - 0, after a penalty 23 minutes into the match.
J. Schadenhofer scored from the penalty spot.
A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in SC71er's
H. Reinkens increasing the lead to 2 - 0.
33 minutes into the game, semistaenda seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to
weak.
It was 2 - 0 at the break.
SC71er enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 71 percent of possession.
The semistaenda players spent the break getting a rerun of the team's tactical organisation and regained a
passable organisation when the game started again.
The sunny day didn't make things easy for
R. Haltmayer who didn't seem his usual powerful self on the pitch.
With 48 minutes played,
R. Haltmayer could have brought this one home for SC71er as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high.
Things were deteriorating for the away team as SC71er scored another to make it 3 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for
R. Dorizas after 73 minutes.
74 minutes in, semistaenda's
A. Sparr received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
After 80 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as semistaenda found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to
weak.
After 81 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and
H. Reinkens gave the SC71er supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 4 - 0.
It was a hot and sunny day, and several players seemed worn out. Maybe this was why
W. Schobesberger found an unusual amount of space for his snappy footwork.
R. Dorizas could have put SC71er up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 83 minutes.
SC71er players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead.
J. Schadenhofer could have increased the lead after 86 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park.
87 minutes into the game semistaenda managed a counterattack, but
F. Ortu took a soft shot from the left flank that was easy prey for the alert keeper.
Possession in this half belonged to SC71er, who controlled the ball 70 percent of the time.
R. Dorizas performed admirably for SC71er.
F. Agnesi on the other hand, had a terrible day.
Most important semistaenda player was
J. Villazán.
A. Sparr turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 4 - 0.
