The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to A. Álvarez, but the G.O.S.C player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0! The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave C. Radu from G.O.S.C a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 23 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! With 25 minutes gone, Ovydyu had a free kick in a decent position. Despite this being a great chance for a shot, they tried a cheeky move intended to bypass the defence. However, V. Esteves did not manage to connect with it cleanly and the ball went out. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, A. Alexandersson got himself booked. The manager of G.O.S.C was not happy. Things were deteriorating for the away team as G.O.S.C scored another to make it 2 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for M. Crujeira after 38 minutes. 42 minutes in, G.O.S.C's M. Crujeira received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 0. G.O.S.C enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

Unhappy with the result so far in the game, the Ovydyu manager used a brief break in play after 52 minutes to give the players new directives. As the game started to slip away for Ovydyu, the manager decided to change the tactical approach. G.O.S.C's C. Radu had an excellent opportunity after 67 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of G.O.S.C to 3 - 0 as C. Radu finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. With 72 minutes played, G.O.S.C put themselves up 4 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to M. Ion, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. The players of G.O.S.C now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. A. Umkehrer-Neudeck had a couple of good opportunities to reply, but the home team's keeper A. Heine-Vāgners was simply unbeatable. G.O.S.C had most of the ball, with 53 percent of possession.

G.O.S.C's best player was F. Despa. However, C. Mare made a disastrous appearance. Ovydyu's top performer was clearly B. Veres. A. Umkehrer-Neudeck turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 4 - 0.
