Gürses struck home from a rebound off the crossbar, following a shot from the right. One of many good crosses from B. Smuk on the wing was received and skillfully taken care of by J. Budych, who scored for Juniors. 2 - 1 It was 2 - 1 at the break. BlueThunder enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 52 percent of possession.

Things were going to get worse for the visitors. A. Coenegracht squirmed through their central defence after 51 minutes, increasing the lead to 3 - 1. After 55 minutes, F. Sosa chose the right corner while taking his penalty, humiliating the home keeper, who dived in the wrong direction. The goal reduced the home lead to 3 - 2. With 65 minutes played, Juniors's K. Kohler almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. BlueThunder claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 56 percent.

Juniors's best player was A. Coenegracht. R. Bhend was a disappointment, however. BlueThunder's top performer was clearly M. Córcico. A. Adamowicz turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 3 - 2.
