Guette's hooked ball from the left created a scuffle in front of the goal, and the visitors' defenders had a hard time clearing the ball. After 3 minutes A.C.Ronzone tried to exploit their counterattacking skills, unfortunately, T. Stangenberg's shot sailed wide after his break down the right. Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 32 minutes into the match, and J. Pöttinger wasn't about to let it go by. He got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 0 - 1 for the visitors. The referee showed A.C.Ronzone's L. Fijas the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. A.C. were forced into a substitution as A. Mardi couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing M. Holger to come in off the bench. A tussle 37 minutes into the match resulted in a penalty being awarded to the home team and R. Espinhel put the ball into the back of the net without any difficulty. That tied the score up at 1 - 1. 1 - 1 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to A.C., who controlled the ball 53 percent of the time.

A.C. could have put themselves ahead after 61 minutes but A. Niv missed a volley shot on a ball coming in from the right. The heat made it a terrible day for G. Maddelein, who seemed unable to keep up with the other players. The coach of A.C. wanted to try to change things around after 69 minutes, and gave new tactical instructions. Priding himself in being an active coach, the A.C. manager gave new instructions to his players after 70 minutes. 70 minutes into the game, A.C. wanted to bring some new energy to their game. J. Asser gave M. Mariancini a quick hug as he left the field. 82 minutes had elapsed when a great chance for A.C. to take the lead after a good cross from the right found É. Guette alone with the keeper, but he chipped it to the wrong side of the post. Given a free kick close to the byline, A.C. tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let P. Nunziante slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 2 - 1, 83 minutes into the game. A.C. claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.

A.C.'s top performer was clearly É. Guette. M. Mariancini turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating A.C.Ronzone player was without a doubt G. Del Prete. M. Kukk was a disappointment, however. The match ends 2 - 1.
