The visitors kept the pressure on to tie the game when, after 9 minutes, R. Celeghini broke through the centre and found himself alone with the keeper. F. Musella made a great block, though. 11 minutes in, ghigioni's T. Ilkiewicz received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. After 24 minutes, V. Skydsgaard put ghigioni ahead 2 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. At this point, it was obvious that the players of ghigioni lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. ghigioni's F. Gurp saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 38 minutes. B. Yüzüak, who often relies on his speed, had a rotten day on the drenched grass. 2 - 0 was the score after the first half. ghigioni enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

C. Cerro could have increased the lead after 80 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. A free kick just outside of the visitors' penalty area after 87 minutes could have resulted in another goal, but K. Chalev got a hand out and tipped the ball over the bar. T. Ilkiewicz had a fantastic opportunity to put ghigioni up another goal 87 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. R. Bassini was struggling to make the ball dance with his usual trickery and panache, and the opposing players had little trouble shutting him down in these muddy conditions. The referee showed Fenoc's C. Huet the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by ghigioni, with 59 percent of the ball.

Most important ghigioni player was V. Skydsgaard. F. Musella was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Fenoc player was without a doubt A. Pescio. H. Należyty turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 2 - 0.
