It had rained all day, but 12475 hardy fans still made it out to TANA DELLE TIGRI. Bronisław Piaścik was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Aksel Stounberg and Holger Urbansson. After thorough analysis and consultation of astrological charts, Bayern_München decided to go with a 3-5-2 formation. They fielded: Haščák - Altunç, Silva, Goyers - Lachance, Iacopini, Tygesen, Chevrel, Eppendorfer - Benachour, Zékány.

Cry "havoc" and let loose the dogs of war! Eleven will go to battle in a 3-5-2 formation. The following players took the field: Haring - Neira, Ibañez Monreal, Nilssen - Baldasso, Huis, Diaconescu, Cantürk, Sparreboom - Perrella, Nevola.

Using their brilliant skill, Bayern_München pushed their attacks towards the wings. Eleven were mostly trying to use their magnificent skill at attacking on the flanks. It was obvious that Bayern_München had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. The Eleven free kick 35 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But it was no mistake - M. Perrella seemingly came out of nowhere and had miles of space to control the ball and pick his spot. That's 0 - 1! A. Ibañez Monreal had a difficult time moving the ball with his trademark elegance; the muddy surface was clearly affecting his technique. With 39 minutes on the clock, Bayern_München's N. Tygesen found an opening in the visitors' left side, but his shot was handled easily by the keeper. Everyone had expected a shot from the free kick 40 minutes into the game, but Bayern_München sent the ball sideways instead, giving S. Benachour a clear look at goal with no wall in his way. He sent it through the keeper's legs for 1 - 1! 1 - 2 was the score after 42 minutes, when Eleven's A. Cantürk cut through the central defense and pounded one in. V. Silva had a grin on his face as he raced past the weaker players, nearly oblivious to the rain. Some hard work on the right gave Bayern_München a wonderful opportunity to level the score after 44 minutes, and A. Chevrel stepped up to the challenge, netting the 2 - 2 goal. It was 2 - 2 at the break. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Bayern_München, with an impressive 55 percent possession of the ball.

After 60 minutes, the Eleven coach wanted to see a new face on the field, waving U. Neira off. M. Cela took his place. Eleven took the lead 63 minutes into the game, making the score 2 - 3 after some elegant movement down the middle. G. Nevola was the scorer. Due to some great work on the right wing Bayern_München's K. Eppendorfer was able to even the score 73 minutes in to 3 - 3. 75 minutes into the game, Eleven wanted to bring some new energy to their game. G. Nevola gave G. Aredon Cavani a quick hug as he left the field. 75 minutes into the match, the referee signaled for a Eleven substitution. R. Manerba came on for B. Diaconescu. A questionable penalty after 86 minutes gave the home side the lead, 4 - 3. The visitors' goalie didn't stand a chance as A. Chevrel knocked the ball home. Eleven were determined to attack down the sideline and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favor of the wings. The visitors got just what they'd been looking for after 87 minutes when R. Baldasso received a pass from the left and buried it in the bottom corner, leveling it at 4 - 4. Looks like Nate Silver was right again - his prediction that Eleven would have 52 percent possession in this half was spot on!

Most important Bayern_München player was J. Lachance. You can tell it was nickel beer night yesterday at the local bar because P. Haščák seemed to stumble all over the pitch. Eleven's best player was M. Perrella. Speaking of stinking up the place, M. Cela sure smelled like the bottom of Batman's shoe after a night of crimefighting in Gotham. The match ends 4 - 4.
