Muse. oktopod's J. Łubnicki was shown a yellow card after 16 minutes for slicing down an opponent. VETERNIK were forced into a substitution as N. Ljubanović couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing N. Radivojević to come in off the bench. 19 minutes in, oktopod appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only passable. A. Stojković of VETERNIK was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. 26 minutes into the game, oktopod seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to inadequate. Ristikivi made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1. 35 minutes into the game, oktopod seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a poor level of organisation. After 38 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave E. Ristikivi a chance to increase the lead for oktopod, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 2. 38 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 3 as P. Schäche finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. A. Lassberg of oktopod took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 41 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 4. 0 - 4 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by oktopod, with 72 percent of the ball.

A review of the gameplan helped oktopod get back to a passable organisation when the referee blew his whistle again. With 47 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed S. Nellemann of oktopod to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 5. By now, the players in oktopod felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. V. Zoranović performed admirably for VETERNIK. Ľ. Rybenský on the other hand, had a terrible day. oktopod's top performer was clearly J. Wollsten. E. Ristikivi turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 8.
