12000 punters turned up at Dom revolucije, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came. VELINAC saw most attack opportunities on the wings. O. Krele of Rokaj received a yellow card after 9 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. VELINAC took the lead after D. Russomando curved a free kick into the net. 0 - 1 The referee showed VELINAC's L. Feliciello the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. A corner kick created great disorder in the penalty area with a goal nearly scored by M. Rnjak. At last, Rokaj's Z. Dorkin was able to backheel the ball in. 1 - 1. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave D. Kalođera from VELINAC a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 41 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! VELINAC had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. With 42 minutes played, the visitors broke through on the right after some poor defending. J. Pinos-Puente put the ball away for 1 - 2. 1 - 2 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by VELINAC, with 63 percent of the ball.

53 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 1 - 3 as A. Florescu finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. D. Kalođera remonstrated furiously with the referee after VELINAC had another decision go against them. The referee had no alternative but to show him another yellow card and send him from the pitch. After 58 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for S. Karanović who increased VELINAC's lead to 1 - 4. J. Pinos-Puente increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 1 - 5. After 78 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed D. Russomando to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 1 - 6. At this point, it was obvious that the players of VELINAC lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. VELINAC's A. Zamecki was shown a yellow card after 80 minutes for slicing down an opponent. K. De Beuckeleer came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over Z. Čudić but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. Possession in this half belonged to VELINAC, who controlled the ball 63 percent of the time.

Z. Dorkin performed admirably for Rokaj. Z. Orešković turned in a dismal performance, however. VELINAC's top performer was clearly D. Russomando. A. Florescu on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 6.
