Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and FJ'S Arena saw a crowd turnout of 53118. Rui da Costa was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Ignacio Pinillos and Rinat Kachalov. Duergar's M. Fernández was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 14 minutes. FJS had a good opportunity to take the lead as W. Denker came up the left side, but he struck the ball weakly and it went straight into the arms of M. Buxán. Always quick and a menace to his opponents, P. Leander was very close to getting through after 39 minutes, but he could only put the ball into the keeper's arms. 42 minutes of the match played, and a comedy of errors by the home side gave the visitors a chance at the lead, but R. Boaño, after finding himself dashing down on goal from the left with only the keeper to beat, sliced his shot horribly wide. 0 - 0 was the halftime score. FJS claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 51 percent.

Priding himself in being an active coach, the FJS manager gave new instructions to his players after 66 minutes. 67 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a FJS substitution. C. Engelund came on for P. Leander. After 76 minutes, Duergar's R. Serra made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, FJS's B. Tudor was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 77 minutes. A. Herrementeria was given a chance to change things around. The FJS players listened closely to their manager, as he gave new tactical instructions for the team. Duergar's R. Serra was shown a yellow card after 78 minutes for slicing down an opponent. The referee signalled a penalty 81 minutes into the game following an offence which looked like it was outside the box. F. Esteíbar knocked it home to make the score 0 - 2. 82 minutes in, Duergar's Y. Lambrechts received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. FJS's fans were urging them forward as they tried to get back into the game, and their vocal support was rewarded 85 minutes into the match as A. Herrementeria ran onto a beautiful ball played through the visitors' defence and slotted it past the keeper to reduce the deficit. 1 - 2. The home crowd was not impressed when R. Çetin came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 86 minutes. Duergar were now up 1 - 3. After this, you could see that the players of Duergar were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. After 87 minutes, following yet another great corner, R. Çetin's flick on at the near post reached M. Fernández, who was just wide with his snapshot - the ball went out for a goal kick. FJS's A. Herrementeria cut towards the middle after 88 minutes, receiving a brilliant pass and slicing through the visiting team's central defence, reducing the lead to 2 - 3. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Duergar, with 51 percent of the ball.

FJS's top performer was clearly H. Filt Jensen. M. Maestre Cozar was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Duergar player was without a doubt Y. Lambrechts. However, A. Gimenez made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 2 - 3.
