Luckily the ref didn't see him taunting the opposing fans in celebration - naughty boy! It was a hot and sunny day, and several players seemed worn out. Maybe this was why F. Elsner found an unusual amount of space for his snappy footwork. Joventut's J. Soto Mediero cut towards the middle after 22 minutes, receiving a brilliant pass and slicing through the visiting team's central defence, reducing the lead to 1 - 2. 1 - 2 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to Joventut, who controlled the ball 53 percent of the time.

F. Ulfsson wasn't much help defensively. His energy-consuming forward runs proved quite costly in the oppressive heat. After 63 minutes of game time, S. Sotolongo had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but O. Heijn was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. With 70 minutes played, A. Maier of Joventut fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Joventut's A. Maier was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 76 minutes. K. Streun was given a chance to change things around. It wasn't a good day at all for J. Kosiada. His powerful style of play just didn't fit the bill on this warm day. The home crowd cheered when, after 85 minutes, A. Estebanell's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. 86 minutes into the game, boquerons worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch. With a shot curled in from just outside the middle of the penalty area after 88 minutes played, J. Kosiada of Joventut made the score 2 - 2. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Joventut, with 51 percent of the ball.

J. Soto Mediero performed admirably for Joventut. K. Streun on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating boquerons player was without a doubt F. Perner. F. Elsner turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 2 - 2.
