Today, Newlolers's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks. It was obvious that Newlolers had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. With 18 minutes played A. Bujor almost put the home team one ahead on a cross coming in from the right, but the shot went just wide. 0 - 1 was the score with 32 minutes played, after P. Vázquez cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Madafaca. After 36 minutes Madafaca's K. Kolev limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. Newlolers's V. Generes made a successful breakthrough on the left after 38 minutes and should have levelled the score, but instead he clipped it over the bar. 0 - 1 was the halftime score. Newlolers claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 55 percent.

It wasn't a good day at all for R. Cadilla. His powerful style of play just didn't fit the bill on this warm day. Newlolers enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.

Most important Newlolers player was K. Tzankov. However, V. Abrantes made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Madafaca player was without a doubt G. Mahringer. M. Persson on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 1.
