O. Almog seemed to be impossibly far from the goal, but he looked up and bang! A real cracker for SiUo after 3 minutes. 1 - 0. caballeros's J. Kanstrup got himself booked for a foul. The player down was J. Moital. The SiUo bench looked worried for a while, but in the end he managed to get up. Cheers filled the stadium as O. Almog broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 2 - 0 to SiUo. With 29 minutes played, SiUo's K. Arrizuriaga almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. With 31 minutes played, C. Proença could have brought this one home for SiUo as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. SiUo managed to extend their lead to 3 - 0 when C. Proença cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. It was 3 - 0 at the break. SiUo enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 58 percent of possession.

In an effort to secure the lead, SiUo changed their tactic after 63 minutes. After 70 minutes, J. Moital sprinted between the opposing defenders and squared the ball, but the keeper deflected G. Caballé's shot. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in SiUo's M. Plantalech increasing the lead to 4 - 0. Confident in their lead, SiUo's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. caballeros's F. Mão de Ferro finished emphatically to make the score 4 -1 after 76 minutes, after the enigmatic E. Yüce pulled a delightful long pass from his box of tricks to bypass the defence. The coach of SiUo was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 78 minutes, A. Dendategi came on for C. Proença. The SiUo captaincy was handed to Q. Ibn-Rafiq. D. Paulo left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 80 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. R. Sosa was the replacement. After 80 minutes, caballeros's L. Brothanek fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit! SiUo claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 58 percent.
