With 10 minutes played D. Ślifirski almost put the home team one ahead on a cross coming in from the right, but the shot went just wide. A well placed corner kick from B. Tillind was followed by D. Ślifirski's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for Kanikes, the score now 1 - 0. The home side's B. Tillind curled a free kick home after 26 minutes, putting Kanikes ahead 2 - 0. D. Ślifirski had a fantastic opportunity to put Kanikes up another goal 34 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. Given a free kick close to the byline, asterixko tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let I. Calaf slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 2 - 1, 38 minutes into the game. 2 - 1 was the score after the first half. Kanikes had most of the ball, with 55 percent of possession.

After 46 minutes, asterixko switched F. de Castro with L. Cappe, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. The coach of Kanikes was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 50 minutes, T. Seheim came on for B. Tillind. À. Oriol came close to levelling the score 52 minutes into the game, as he was set up with a through ball coming in from the left, but his shot hit the post. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, B. Cisneros got himself booked. The manager of Kanikes was not happy. D. Ślifirski couldn't do anything to stop the technically gifted À. Oriol as he dodged past on his way to scoring a wonderful goal for asterixko - 2 - 2! Priding himself in being an active coach, the asterixko manager gave new instructions to his players after 58 minutes. J. Plejdrup gave Kanikes the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 3 - 2 72 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as A. Balcells broke through, making the score 4 - 2 for Kanikes. After 73 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by T. Seheim might have resulted in another goal for Kanikes. However, T. Crispim made a spectacular save. Kanikes enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.

Kanikes's top performer was clearly A. Balcells. M. Vinuesa was a disappointment, however. Most important asterixko player was À. Oriol. P. Lamigueiro on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 2.
