Clear skies welcomed the 22679 spectators who had made their way to CAMP ROBLA. Bresti Hjelm was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jonatan Ubar and Engelbert Planell. It was an obvious ambition of LEONESA to use their ability at attacking on the flanks. 3 minutes into the match, the technically gifted D. Galletti of LEONESA scored 1 - 0, having made L. Escobal look like a complete fool. D. Dal Cin should probably have put his team up another goal after 9 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by N. Messbauer kept the visitors in the game. 22 minutes in, LEONESA's D. Galletti received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. A well placed corner kick from R. Birindelli was followed by L. Escobal's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for Celtic, the score now 1 - 1. At 27 minutes played, N. Melgarejo came in from the right with the intention of giving LEONESA the lead, but his rocket of a shot rattled the crossbar. D. Galletti caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 28 minutes. This gave LEONESA the 2 - 1 lead. LEONESA's T. Aldrich got himself booked for a foul. Halftime score was 2 - 1. Celtic claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 55 percent.

A cross coming in on the right hand side left D. Traina alone in front of the goal after 59 minutes but his shot was woeful. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Celtic's J. Schøler was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 60 minutes. Y. Suharsono was given a chance to change things around. Celtic needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 60 minutes J. Linkosalo made way for I. Paunić. With 64 minutes played, D. Galletti could have brought this one home for LEONESA as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, J. Atlagić got himself booked. The manager of Celtic was not happy. After 70 minutes, the visitors levelled the scores after J. Atlagić made it through the middle and struck home to make it 2 - 2. O. Wolf would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. P. Castel entered the game for Celtic as the match clock showed 75 minutes. Celtic's defence sent a ball soaring up the middle on a beautiful counterattack with 75 minutes gone, but P. Castel's finish was met by the reaching hands of the keeper. After some beautiful movement down the left wing, T. Aldrich scored for LEONESA putting them ahead 3 - 2, after 82 minutes. Celtic's R. Birindelli was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 83 minutes. Celtic enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

Most important LEONESA player was D. Galletti. E. Sarzeda turned in a dismal performance, however. R. Birindelli performed admirably for Celtic. On the other hand, N. Messbauer's play was disheartening. The match ends 3 - 2.
