Kyaro 0 - 2 Pitote
(367516733)

17-03-2012 15.10
Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and
Suikoden Arena saw a crowd turnout of 27335.
René Heeringa was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Alex Bennes and
Marcelo Ramos.
Kyaro started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.
The following players had been chosen: Martorell - Perelló, Shpilevskiy, Falch Andersen - Rueda, Montesinos, Papell, Rezeš, Papperger - Mira, Padevět.
Pitote decided to use a 3-5-2 set up.
The following players took the field: Casino - De Schampheleire, Antonsen, Choquet - Barbón, Vinegra, Bond, Gilson, Guerrero - El-Wakili, Savakis.
Pitote saw most attack opportunities on the wings.
The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of Pitote's
L. Bond after 23 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 0 - 1 lead.
Pitote's
E. Barbón was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box -
A. Savakis managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 0 - 2 after 33 minutes.
At this point, it was obvious that the players of Pitote lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented.
Kyaro had a brilliant opportunity to reply as
E. Rueda received a high ball from the right, striking the ball in the air. Only
A. Casino's reflexes saved him.
Kyaro's
E. Papperger had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 38 minutes having been played.
B. Moura was the replacement.
Halftime score was 0 - 2.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Kyaro, with 66 percent of the ball.
The crowd groaned when
A. Papell, having maneuvered his way down the right, fired the ball just wide and missed a great opportunity to reduce the deficit for Kyaro.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
J. Vinegra from Pitote a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 72 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
E. Rueda almost reduced the deficit, having drawn the entire left side defence away, but the shot went straight into the arms of the goalkeeper.
The game was close to savage at times, and Pitote's
J. Vinegra received a second yellow card after 78 minutes; his ticket out of the game.
V. Montesinos of Kyaro had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game.
J. Pla Cano came in to finish the match.
A misunderstanding between the visitors' keeper
A. Casino and his left defence could have resulted in a goal for Kyaro, but
B. Moura's finish was way too lame.
After 82 minutes
E. Rezeš could have reduced the lead with a blistering strike from the left wing, had it not been for an excellent block by the visitors' keeper.
Possession in this half belonged to Kyaro, who controlled the ball 66 percent of the time.
E. Rezeš performed admirably for Kyaro.
On the other hand,
O. Mira's play was disheartening.
The most dominating Pitote player was without a doubt
D. Gilson.
A. Casino was a disappointment, however.
The match ends 0 - 2.
