Conroth's dazzling drive up the left, but the opportunity fizzled out as his shot went just over the bar after 17 minutes. 23 minutes into the match, the speedy S. Gökalp easily outpaced E. Superson, chipped the keeper and made the score 0 - 1. After 24 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed E. Veliz to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 2. McDaniel refused to be intimidated and, breaking through the middle, K. Bonilla managed to slip the ball home for 1 - 2. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave S. Gökalp from domin a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 29 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! McDaniel were forced into a substitution as W. Acton couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing O. Soskovets to come in off the bench. K. Bonilla of McDaniel received a yellow card after 41 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Halftime score was 1 - 2. McDaniel claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 57 percent.

A. Conroth showed the skills that make him a real crowd pleaser as he, after 49 minutes, wove through the guests' entire central defence and put the 2 - 2 equaliser away. After 66 minutes, K. Bonilla came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 3 - 2, giving McDaniel the lead. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, domin's H. Moinho was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 72 minutes. B. Lamm was given a chance to change things around. The domin coach was desperate to reverse his team's fortunes in the game, and ordered his team to change strategy. McDaniel enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.

McDaniel's best player was A. Conroth. However, O. Soskovets made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating domin player was without a doubt E. Veliz. G. Jonuitis on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 3 - 2.
