TxuPiToS had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 9 minutes in when C. Echauri came up alone against P. Peshev who managed a block. TxuPiToS's F. Vango was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 15 minutes. 30 minutes of the match played, and a comedy of errors by the home side gave the visitors a chance at the lead, but F. Frexa, after finding himself dashing down on goal from the left with only the keeper to beat, sliced his shot horribly wide. BBJB had a good opportunity to take the lead as G. Krogh came up the left side, but he struck the ball weakly and it went straight into the arms of J. Reguera. TxuPiToS took the lead after 37 minutes making the score 0 - 1. C. Echauri placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. It was 0 - 1 at the break. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by BBJB, with 52 percent of the ball.

The head of K. Theys connected with a corner kick after 60 minutes, and the ball ended up with C. McCombie of BBJB who blasted the ball into the net, making the score 1 - 1. BBJB broke through on the left 78 minutes into the game, with A. Segovia firing in from an acute angle to give the home side a 2 - 1 lead. BBJB had a great opportunity to score following a counterattack after 81 minutes, but C. McCombie's shot from the left sailed high over the bar. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. F. Raby squirmed through their central defence after 84 minutes, increasing the lead to 3 - 1. After 86 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by P. Panarelli might have resulted in another goal for BBJB. However, J. Reguera made a spectacular save. BBJB claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.

The most dominating BBJB player was without a doubt P. Panarelli. On the other hand, C. McCombie's play was disheartening. C. Echauri performed admirably for TxuPiToS. J. Reguera turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 3 - 1.
