Dark skies made the crowd of 15600 at El Serrallo a little nervous, but the rain held off. Strapcāns managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 38 minutes. 0 - 1. The cannonball from 35 metres by L. Bories of Cheverinos was an impressive sight, but didn't make it into the net. 0 - 1 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Cheverinos, with 52 percent of the ball.

A misunderstanding between the visitors' keeper M. Filoni and his left defence could have resulted in a goal for Mèdol, but À. Martí's finish was way too lame.
