Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and luki Arena saw a crowd turnout of 1880. This was a good period for the visitors, with several opportunities to take the lead, particularly when A. Torruella slipped through the defence on the right to come up alone against Z. Rekariburu, but the home side's keeper showed his lightning reflexes. luki's F. Vaquerizo got himself booked for a foul. After a fine move down the middle A. Mazoy nearly gave the home side a goal after 32 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. 33 minutes into the game, Z. Rekariburu had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came J. Molist. The luki free kick 34 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of V. Beato, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 1 - 0! KLENCHAS's right side looked dangerous 38 minutes in, but J. Molist made a good save on E. Kobeaga's hard shot to the top corner. luki's J. Fumadó's long shot really ought to have found the net 39 minutes into the match, but it fell just wide of the target. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 0. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by luki, with 51 percent of the ball.

Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 51 minutes, KLENCHAS did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, L. Lauria was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 1 - 1. The referee showed luki's E. Giribet the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. The player down was I. Benavente. The KLENCHAS bench looked worried for a while, but in the end he managed to get up. KLENCHAS's J. Soto was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box - E. Kobeaga managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 1 - 2 after 68 minutes. After 69 minutes, KLENCHAS's J. de la Dehesa burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 1 - 3. 72 minutes into the game, KLENCHAS worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch. With 79 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience, J. Juárez Sierra needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed. Possession in this half belonged to KLENCHAS, who controlled the ball 54 percent of the time.

E. Giribet performed admirably for luki. F. Vaquerizo turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important KLENCHAS player was A. Asprilla. However, D. Stuñiga made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 1 - 3.
