Platz had a good try after 11 minutes, coming in on a fine move from the left, but the ball went wide. Players in Smashing heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead. The guests took the lead 20 minutes into the match, after a right-side attack resulted in B. Čeriominas scoring to make it 0 - 1. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for banga, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. 0 - 1 was the halftime score. Smashing enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 53 percent of possession.

Smashing's B. Treichleris excelled in some fine tricks that completely confused I. Tačiulauskas - and the finish was no less spectacular - 0 - 2! M. Morgado challenged the visitors' central defence eagerly, producing a good chance 85 minutes into the game as he went for a through ball. But, as so many times before, the guests' defensive efforts got the best of it. Neither team were able to dominate possession this half.

The most dominating banga player was without a doubt S. Żupiec. M. Morgado on the other hand, had a terrible day. Smashing's best player was G. Tumšaitis. N. Niţă was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 2.
