Kings 6 - 0 Scheinbein
(369075138)

25-02-2012 18.45
It had rained all day, but 11897 hardy fans still made it out to
Lionsgate.
Jeroen Helms was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Matteo Bicocchi and
Taco Plasmans.
Kings had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation.
They fielded: Feulien - 才良 (Cailiang), Navratil, Praschma, Treffer - Fonseca Ramos, Terragni, Mangold, Helminen - Osieka, Száva.
Scheinbein started off with a 4-4-2 lineup.
The following players had been chosen: Kavanagh - Gordejuela, Marcandalli, Anter, Machado - Windgasse, Breha, Hessen, Cancelli - Călin, Ludl.
Today, Kings's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks.
Kings took the lead 5 minutes in, as
B. Mangold broke through on the left and put the 1 - 0 shot just beyond the reach of the outstretched keeper.
A corner kick created great disorder in the penalty area with a goal nearly scored by
M. Fonseca Ramos. At last, Kings's
B. Mangold was able to backheel the ball in. 2 - 0.
A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Kings to 3 - 0 as
M. Terragni finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle.
At this point, it was obvious that the players of Kings lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented.
With 17 minutes played,
M. Treffer could have brought this one home for Kings as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high.
Halftime score was 3 - 0.
Kings claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 60 percent.
The Kings players could smell victory in the air.
J. Helminen wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for
C. Jouve after 65 minutes.
The muddy pitch made the game a gritty affair, which seemed to suit
A. Osieka just fine.
71 minutes into the match
T. Praschma put Kings ahead 4 - 0 with a truly marvelous free kick.
F. Száva left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 75 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead.
C. Vopelius was the replacement.
S. Anter slipped and slithered in the wet grass. His usual rapid runs were nowhere to be seen today.
M. Terragni should probably have put his team up another goal after 80 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by
B. Kavanagh kept the visitors in the game.
82 minutes into the match Scheinbein's
L. Breha head butted an opponent nastily, and so the referee sent him off immediately.
With 84 minutes played, Kings put themselves up 5 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to
M. Treffer, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home.
Kings put themselves up 6 - 0 when
黄. 才良 (Cailiang) broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake.
Kings had most of the ball, with 67 percent of possession.
Kings's top performer was clearly
A. Osieka.
However,
S. Navratil made a disastrous appearance.
Most important Scheinbein player was
K. Hessen.
B. Kavanagh turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 6 - 0.
