Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 42149 to Pampers Arena. Patrick Danielsson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Tobias Adolfsson and Vittorio Iuliano. Nyssa mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. The referee showed Nyssa's S. Schmieder the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. After 13 minutes Nauschlä's S. Zaera limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. The cannonball from 35 metres by A. Göransson of Nauschlä was an impressive sight, but didn't make it into the net. After 29 minutes, Nauschlä's F. Duer made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1. Nyssa's L. Argast was shown a yellow card after 36 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Nauschlä were forced into a substitution as D. Ruffell couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing A. Vandháti to come in off the bench. With 41 minutes played, O. Magenheim nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. With 42 minutes played, L. Muchacho of Nauschlä fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 1. Nauschlä had most of the ball, with 52 percent of possession.

A. Göransson of Nauschlä received a yellow card after 55 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. In the lead, Nauschlä adjusted their style of play with 60 minutes gone. The visitors added to their lead 70 minutes into the game, after a sensational penalty kick by Nauschlä's F. Duer slid just past the home keeper. 0 - 2. Nyssa were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave G. Gurin from Nyssa a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 75 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Nyssa players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. The home side worked hard to get through the middle and as a result, had a good chance of getting one back as R. van Cauteren tried lifting the ball over keeper T. Rime. Unfortunately, the ball went just over the bar. A. Padullés left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 79 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. F. Borkert was the replacement. The referee signalled a penalty 82 minutes into the game following an offence which looked like it was outside the box. F. Duer knocked it home to make the score 0 - 3. That made three goals for F. Duer and he was marked down for the hat trick. Possession in this half belonged to Nauschlä, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

S. Schmieder performed admirably for Nyssa. However, S. Papinigis made a disastrous appearance. Nauschlä's best player was F. Duer. F. Borkert on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 3.
